4th State Of The Nation Address(SONA)
July 22, 2013, President Benigno C. Aquino III delivered his fourth State Of The Nation Address at the Congress of the Philippines, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City. He delivered all about his accomplishments and planned projects under his administration.
In this historical event, one of his topic was about the 4P's(Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program) which means a monthly financial help to the families who are lacked of their needs or not enough budget to provide their basic needs. After declaring and started this program, based from some article or resources, the number of students enrolled at different schools here in our country increase, and the number of children visiting their designated health center decreased. And mostly, benefited parents became active in participating different activities in their town or province. Based from this survey, it only shows that this program is a big help to our country because lessens malnourished children and starvation to our country. But based from my observations in the past, some families are not exerting effort to work for their additional monthly allowance aside from that small amount from the government.
This program helped a lot to our country, but for me, we must not depend on that benefit instead, try to exert effort to work because to add that small amount from the government because that amount is not enough to buy all our needs. Making those efforts will make our country rich and we can also help the government by those simple things. And I truly believed that successful governance begins at ourselves first.
